A NOTE FROM MEG

I started getting tattooed at 16 years old. Last year I was applying my usual tattoo lotion - specifically formulated for tattoos, and I started to read the ingredients. Most of it was impossible to pronounce. I promised myself I’d find a better option. This happened to coincide with a trip to Melissa’s garden to take photos for her. As we moved through her flowers, she brought out a giant jar of rose petals in oil. She explained it was how she made her rose and yarrow balm - a product I fell in love with for my dry, cracked hands. I immediately applied it to my fresh and overly crunchy tattoo. I was blown away. From there on I used that balm exclusively, ultimately remarking one day, “we should create a tattoo balm together”.
I cannot take much credit - Melissa is the magic behind the product. I had ideas, she had the wherewithal and brilliance to create it. It took time - it really is all handcrafted in her shop on Main St, Warkworth. The end result is a clean tattoo balm that not only hydrates your tattoos but aides in healing, without nasty chemical. A tattoo balm that smells so utterly delicious that I challenge you not to eat it. A tattoo balm you can use on your lips, your cuticles, your elbows, burns, scrapes, scars.
I hope you love it as much as I’ve loved being a part of its creation.
xoxo
Meg

Amazing

I love this product.
After a couple of tattoos using different products, this is now my go to.
It left that tattooed area well moisturized. I experienced no dry skin (can lead to scabbed areas) and no after tattoo itching.
Applied after the 2nd day once I removed my second skin.
Smells great too!
